The ramblings of a swimmer

So today begins a busy weekend. 

I’m going later to find out what my handicap will be for a big swim I’m doing on sunday in dun laoire harbour. The faster you are the higher your handicap is, and I reckon mine will be about 15 minutes! So before that I’m going to town to meet up with a friend, and then after that I’m off to a party! Stressful stuff!

On Saturday I think I’m helping out with dog sitting, but other than that its the most peaceful day of the weekend.

On Sunday is this big swim I mentioned, which should be fairly tiring in itself, but then we all go out afterwards! I’m hoping it will be good fun.

Monday is going to rock, I’ve got so much birthday money, so I’m going to town to go SHOPPING! :D Probably go out for dinner too. Did I mention I was staying at my friends house on Sunday night? So I doubt much sleep will be had!

On tuesday I’ll probably be recovering from my eventful sunday and monday, but then I’m going to see the kaiser chiefs on tuesday night, with tickets I won at a table quiz! 

The rest of the week will be rest, but the madness starts again next friday, where I have a wedding, and then the national 10k championships the next day! 

I’m quite proud I’ve managed to keep myself this busy, to distract from the fact that school starts back soon…. :( I’ll keep you updated on how things go though!

So…..haven’t done this in a while but its my birthday today! and i got a new laptop :) which i Love!! I had a great weekend in cork, swam down the lee and all! twas brilliant!

gotta go now…… be blogging more now i can! :D

Eeehhhh so I thought I’d deleted this tumblr account about a year ago… Turns out it still exists! So instead of starting up a new one I’ll just continue to ramble here :)

Almost finished work experience…. It’s been really good! Still think my second one was my favourite! Going for a sea swim tomorrow at five… Can’t wait!

On Saturday I’ve a gala…. Not looking forward to that! Although there is the champions league final on Saturday, that should be good, I hope Barcelona win!

That’s the end of my ramblings for now…. I’ll blog more often now!

Hey!

Ok so I’ll admit that I completely forgot this site existed, but I’m off school so I thought I’d make up for lost time! Im off cause today I’m going to the doctor to get an inhaler, cause recently my lack of ability to breathe has been bothering me ever so slightly! So school is grand, fourth year isnt boring just yet, but a lot of the work we do is so clearly pointless and unnecessary that its kinda annoying! I mean a power point on work experience?? Come on! 

So next week is nationals, i get to miss at least two days of school, to go to galway :) it should be pretty fun and I’m swimming well that the moment so I’m kinda excited! :D Swimming is reeeaaaaallllly hard at the moment though, its getting harder and harder to make myself get up out of bed!

I cant wait til the chritmas holidays, so excited!! And the new year is gonna be awesome. Going to see the script, two door cinema club, going to edinburgh, and then, once fourth year is over its sea swims again! My favourite time of the year! :D And then it all starts again……..kinda depressing! LOL well thats all I got for now, Ill probably blog again in like a billion years time when I remember this site exists once again!

Omg its nearly properly summer!! I finish swimming in like less than a week and then its actually summer for like a whole month!! :D so exciting!! Thats about all i got for ya right now, I’ll probably blog again after the gala to tell you how i did :) but there isnt much to tell at the moment so ill leave it there!

I haven’t blogged in ages, so I decided to now while I’m on my EASTER HOLS! :D Except I have unbelievable amounts of homework it’s ridiculous! So I’m going to see Clash of the Titans on friday, and it should be good! Also, ONLY TWO MONTHS UNTIL THE SEA SWIMS! :D :D :D I’m so excited!!

So at the moment all I’m doing is swimming, going to school, sleeping, eating. Oh yeah and according to some people listening to angry music!! lol!!
